MADD Gallup Survey Released
The Gallup Organization has conducted a survey for MADD in commemoration of its 25th anniversary. This survey shows many interesting statistics on how important the issue of drinking and driving is. It also covers public opinion on things such as sobriety checkpoints, high BAC laws, and of course ignition interlock. This survey shows that most people at least realize what an incredible issue drinking and driving has become. People that were interviewed for this survey also show that they are behind the laws that are being implemented to deter people from drinking and driving. I think it would be great if the state of Kansas would release statistics on how effective ignition interlock has been in reducing recidivism of DUI in our state.
